The secondary power market has no mandatory disclosure requirements, no universal inspection protocol, and no body that polices sellers. Buyers carry the whole diligence burden. This is the standard we hold ourselves to, published so you can hold us to it too.
The four tiers

Documented
Ownership and asset identity confirmed against title documents and the nameplate. Direct owner or custodian contact established.
- V2
Records verified
Run history, maintenance records and OEM logbooks reviewed by the independent engineer engaged for the asset. Hours, starts and inspection intervals reconciled. The engineer is named in the asset file.
- V3
Inspected
Physical inspection completed by a named third-party engineer. Photographic record on file. Storage condition assessed.
- V4
Inspected in detail
Borescope and, where possible, a test run, performed by a qualified specialist engaged for the asset. Compressor and hot section condition documented and available in the data room.
What every record contains
Every published asset carries the same fields, in the same order, whether the answer flatters the machine or not.

- Every fuel the unit is configured to burn.
- Frequency
- 50 Hz, 60 Hz or convertible.
- Heat rate
- Btu/kWh at the stated configuration.
- Configuration
- Simple cycle, combined cycle, CHP or mobile.
Condition
- Equivalent operating hours
- Reconciled at V2 and above.
- Fired hours
- Actual fired hours where records support it.
- Starts
- Start count, which drives cyclic life.
- Hours since CI, HSI and major
- Interval position for each inspection class.
- Condition state
- Operating, warm, cold, preserved or disassembled.
- Storage environment and stored since
- How and how long it has been held.
- Borescope date and inspector
- Named, not anonymous.
Emissions and permitting
- Combustion system
- DLE, diffusion with injection, lean burn, and so on.
- NOx and CO
- The unit as it stands, in ppm.
- Achievable basis
- What the unit can reach after the stated refurbishment.

- Jurisdictional constraints we have identified.

What is public and what is gated
Serial numbers are masked in public and released in full under NDA. Owner identity, exact location, pricing, and the underlying documents are released in the data room. Everything else is public, because a buyer should be able to disqualify an asset without signing anything.
Our position on the transaction
Every published record and every mandate states which of these we hold, and who pays us. A tier says how well the asset is evidenced. A role says whose side we are on. Neither is much use without the other, and this market publishes neither.

- We own it or are contracted to. Our margin is the spread.
- Principal, partnered
- We hold a position alongside an investor partner.
- Exclusive mandate
- Appointed by the owner. The owner pays our fee.
- Open mandate
- Appointed by the owner, non-exclusively. The owner pays our fee.
- Buy-side
- Engaged by the buyer. The buyer pays our fee.
What we will not publish
- An asset we cannot trace to a named owner or custodian.
- An asset offered by an intermediary who cannot arrange direct owner contact under NDA.
- An asset whose documentation package cannot be produced on request.
- An asset we have been told about but have not independently confirmed exists.
Who performs verification
We perform the title and provenance work ourselves. Records review, physical inspection and borescope are performed by the independent engineer or inspection contractor engaged for the asset, and every one of them is named in the verification record on the asset page.
A tier is a statement about work that was done and by whom. That is what makes it checkable: you can ask for the engineer, the report and the date, and every one of them exists.
Corrections
If you find an error in a published record, tell us. We correct it, timestamp the change, and leave the previous value visible in the verification record.
